The mountains open beneath you
Stone villages in the distance
And the feeling of gently flying
The Dolomiti Lucane: Pietrapertosa & Castelmezzano
The Dolomiti Lucane rise in sharp sandstone peaks above the villages of Pietrapertosa and Castelmezzano, where stone houses appear almost carved into the mountainside. Suspended between them, the valley opens to wide views and open skies. As you glide across the landscape, a cool mountain breeze accompanies the flight,
— a welcome sensation on warm summer days.
