Reviving Puglia’s Olive Legacy
In Puglia, olive trees are more than part of the landscape — they are living witnesses of time. The spread of Xylella fastidiosa has deeply altered this heritage, leaving vast areas of Salento changed and vulnerable.
Together with Olivami, we are taking part in a long-term effort to restore what has been lost. By planting resilient olive trees, we support the renewal of the land, the work of local farmers, and a more balanced relationship with the environment.
This initiative is about continuity — helping the landscape recover, strengthening local communities, and allowing Puglia’s olive culture to remain present for generations to come.

Offsetting Guest Emissions
Exploring Puglia often means moving through the landscape — on average, around 500 km per stay. Acknowledging this impact, we support tree-planting initiatives that help absorb up to 88 tons of CO₂ each year.
This approach allows travel and care to coexist. While guests enjoy the region at their own pace, their stay quietly contributes to a more balanced and sustainable future for Puglia.

Caring for our villas requires regular movement across the region — part of the responsibility of being present and attentive. We recognise the environmental impact this brings and take steps to balance it through CO₂ offset initiatives linked to our operations.
By doing so, we aim to care for the Valle d’Itria with the same consideration we bring to every stay. It is a way of aligning thoughtful hospitality with long-term respect for the landscape that surrounds us.
