EXPLORE PUGLIA

Puglia is a perfect holiday destination offering loveliest beaches, 800km of coastline, a sublime climate, many historical and fascinating towns, several important archaeological sites and an excellent culinary tradition.
Puglia was always a strategic area for the Mediterranean. It was colonized by Greeks, the Romans, the Byzantines, the Normans and the Spanish Bourbons. All left their imprint in some tangible way making Puglia a great destination to discover the baroque and medieval styles in towns such as Alberobello, Ostuni, Lecce, Otranto, Gallipoli and many others.

Puglia holds a huge amount of interest, from picture-book medieval towns to stunning beaches and sea

Valle D’Itria is the charming central are of Puglia famous for delightful old-town centres and the Unesco World Heritage sites called Trulli. Trulli are traditional circular stone houses with conical roofs built from the XVII century. Several of them have been restructured in the last decades following the most authentic and conservative tradition. Some of them have become delightful vacation homes for a memorable vacation in Puglia.

Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, our villas are haven of peace and quiet

The Mediterranean climate ensures dry summers and mild winters, with average daily temperature from 12°C in winter to 30°C in summer. The sea temperature is within 15°C and 26°C for nine months a year.
Puglia is one of Europe’s great agricultural areas, its immense plains and rolling hills producing much of Italy’s wine and olive oil, vast quantities of its fruit and vegetables, and most of the hard durum wheat used to make its pasta.

Gourmet travelers will love the abundance of sublime restaurants serving up Apulian cuisine and fresh seafood

The Puglia regional cuisine is home-country inspired, with a wide range of simple but staggering ingredients offered by the bounty of the land and coastline. So while meat is uncommon - lamb and goat being the exception- abundant fresh vegetables, superb fish and seafood are widely used to make a truly food experience.
Puglia is a land full of life, offering a rich calendar of events throughout the year, from local and international festivals to live concerts, film festivals and art exhibitions.
